The GE DS200IIBDG1AGA is an IGBT Gate Driver Board designed for GE’s Mark V Series— a longstanding line of turbine control systems and components that continues to be maintained by GE. It is a revised variant of its parent Mark V board, incorporating three key updates: two functional revisions and one artwork revision.
Physically, it features nine red indicator LEDs (arranged in three groups of three) visible from the circuit board cabinet—each group corresponds to an adjacent 8-pin connector (APL, BPL, CPL) and indicates the status of signals received/transmitted via these connectors. It also includes a 34-pin connector (two rows of 17 pins) that links to a single ribbon cable. Removal for replacement involves unscrewing six mounting screws, with care needed to avoid brushing against other cabinet components or board solder points; fallen screws must be retrieved to ensure drive functionality. It retains the standard assembly type common to GE Speedtronic products.
